Sungale comes back with their latest gadget, the Kula IPTV. It is an ultra portable Wi-Fi-enabled IPTV device that allows users to access a large number of live streaming television programs from all over the world, selectable by country, language and topic like News, Sports and Finance all without the high rates. The Kula IPTV features a 4.3-inch LCD display, a built-in rechargeable battery, and a 2GB of internal memory (upgradable via an SD/MMC card slot) allowing users to watch stored video clips, listen to music and view photos on the go. The Sungale Kula will be introduced at CES 2010. No info on pricing so far.

ePVision today announced the availability of its fourth generation HD set top box, which is known as the Advanced HDTV Tuner Receiver Box PHD-205LE. The box uses an ATI MPEG2 decoder chip with a 3D graphic engine and supports resolutions of 1080i and 720p. Connectivity options include an HDMI 1.3b output, component, VGA, Composite and S-Video. The ePVision Advanced HDTV Tuner Receiver Box PHD-205LE is now available for $139.95.

Chinon today rolled out their latest iPod speaker system that comes with an integrated digital TV. Known as the AVi, this portable gadget comes with a boombox design and provides a Universal iPod Dock on the top of the system, a 7-inch front-mounted LCD monitor, a couple of 2.5W speakers, an integrated ATSC digital TV tuner with AV output, an auxiliary input for connecting the iPod shuffle or other audio sources, a digital FM tuner with 20 presets, an alarm clock, and an included remote control. Chinon’s Avi portable speaker system for iPod sells for $199.99.

Bang & Olufsen today introduced a new 55-inch model of its BeoVision 7 LCD video system that offers customers more options and enhanced picture quality. The new 55-inch BeoVision 7 uses the Bang & Olufsen BeoSystem 3 video engine, double frame rate technology at 120Hz, motion compensation and progressive scanning backlight, which produce clear and sharp picture quality even during fast-moving scenes.
The 55-inch BeoVision 7 is specially designed for floor placement. It comes with two motorized floor stand options that allow you to preset viewing positions, giving the full picture and sound experience from any position in the room. Available in natural aluminum, black, blue, dark grey and red, the 55-inch Bang & Olufsen BeoVision 7 retails for $18,700 includes floor stand and center speaker.

The SyncMaster P2770HD is the latest Full HD display from Samsung that has interesting features. The 27-inch HD LCD display comes equipped with an integrated TV tuner, an HDMI input, a 5ms response time, a 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, and two 3-watt stereo speakers, which is able to simulate 5.1-channel audio. Other features include Picture In Picture and Picture By Picture modes. The 27-inch Samsung SyncMaster P2770HD is priced at approx. $473 in South Korea.

ByDsing’s Full HDTV is now available via Nojima’s website. Priced at 49800 Yen or around $553, this 32-inch HDTV provides a maximum resolution of 1920×1080, a response time of 6ms, and a contrast ratio of 1300:1. What makes this HD display special is that it comes with a digital TV tuner, a couple of HDMI ports, S-video, and two 10W speakers.
3D TV coming to UK in 2010

SKY is all set to release 3D TV in UK as soon as next year. Currently the company offers HD services to 1.3 million users and the growing demand for its HD service has prompted SKY to work on the 3D service (which would have otherwise seen the light of day sometime in 2011). However things won’t be very simple for the consumers with the whole setup requiring them to get a pair of 3D glasses and a ‘3D ready’ Television set!
With several manufacturers preparing 3D televisions for next year, SKY would be the first one to broadcast 3D content. Seeing the enthusiasm for HD TV, 3D TV might well be a popular thing… Read More
